Applying for Pupil Premium
Pupil premium is funding to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England. Evidence shows that disadvantaged children generally face additional challenges in reaching their potential at school and often do not perform as well as other pupils.
If you have one of these immigration statuses: Zambrano, Article 8 of the ECHR, Section 4 of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999, Chen, BN(O) Passport holder, Spousal visa holder, Work visa holder, Student visa holder, or you receive any of these benefits:
Income Support (IS)
Jobseekers Allowance Income based (JSAIB)
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (IRESA)
Child Tax Credit, provided they are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual household income, as assessed by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs that does not exceed £16,190
Guaranteed Element of State Pension Credit
Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
Universal Credit, household annual net earned income must not exceed £7,400 as assessed by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs your child may be eligible for additional school support.
Support includes continued Free School Meals in to KS2, reduced cost school trips and tuition if necessary. Please email pp@northprimary.co.uk to request support from Mrs Burke to apply.
